On Saturday, October 29th, we went to the Seattle North Stake's trunk-or-treat. I was glad it was held at 4pm, so it was still light out. Plus, it was a sunny day which was a treat for the parents!

The kids were a little too distracted to get a good picture before they started collecting candy. Sydney was Princess Zelda and Wes was a Lightning McQueen driver.

At this trunk, the kids got to go fishing for their treats!

The kids kept their distance from this gorilla, but were still able to get their candy.

This trunk had a dog dressed up as a turtle and a turtle dressed up as a dog. Pretty clever!

About halfway through, we took a break and had doughnuts and apple cider (as if we needed any more sugar!).

Some of the kids of the Seattle 7th Ward eating their doughnuts.

A real Kent firefighter (from our ward) passing out candy.

After stopping by all the trunks, the kids sat down to check out their spoils.

Mmmmm....candy.

They got a ton of candy at the trunk-or-treat and we hadn't even had Halloween yet! They were pretty excited, as you can imagine.

It looks like you had some great "trunks." It's nice when lots of people participate. The pictures of the kids in their costumes are great!
