Random Pictures (Mostly of Ruth)

It's hard to catch up on picture posting when I take so many pictures of my baby girl every day! Here are a bunch of random ones of the kids.

I love that little hand holding my fingers.

Little hands making sure I don't take her bottle away!

Wes and Brian were out of the house for a bit so I let Sydney do my hair. Beautiful! :)

A picture of Ruth I sent to Brian while he was out of town.

I took the kids to Red Robin for a school fundraiser. Brian was out of town, so I took all three by myself. It's nice that my (older) kids are old enough to handle eating at a restaurant.

Wes stuck his straw through the gap in his teeth since Grandma Hanks told him it was the perfect hole for a straw.

Sydney wanted to be in the picture I took of Ruth sleeping.

Bed head!

Ruth really started looking more like a filled out baby at the end of March.

Ruth has long eyelashes!

I took the kids to Babies R Us and they tried on shoes and hats.

Wes also wanted to show the magazine in the picture for some reason.

A picture of the kids in front of the water fountain at City Creek in Salt Lake. I forgot to include this pic with the Spring Break post.

Another Spring Break pic of Uncle Eliot reading to the kidlets before bed.

Another from Utah: Ruth resting with Grandma Hanks.

Yet another from Spring Break: Sydney, Wes, and Audrey making "Resurrection Rolls" under Aunt Janna's direction.

We celebrated my sister, Jennie's, birthday on April 1st!

Trying to capture those sweet smiles!

Sleepy sister...

The kids made a little tent/house for Ruth in the swing.

Sweet baby girl.

Big smiles!

We had my niece and nephew over one night for a sleepover and Lydia and Sydney ended up right next to each other with the whole one side of the bed unoccupied. They're quickly becoming the best of friends.

Spikey haired Ruth. It's crazy how long her hair is already!

Sydney and me cuddling to watch some General Conference.

This little boy is Brian's cousin's son. He's one of the happiest babies I've ever met and he really liked Ruth!

Sisters, sisters...!

Hard to imagine Sydney was ever as little as Ruth and that Ruth will ever be as big as Sydney!

Easter Sunday 2013

We spent Easter Sunday in Kaysville with Brian's family. Everyone was there except for Kevin and Naomi and their kiddos. Of course, they were greatly missed!

Ruth in her Easter Sunday best!

I love matching the kids' outfits for Easter.

Wes claims he hates pink, but we talked about how handsome he'd look in this tie and he was happy to wear it!

Wes wanted to get a picture with his Easter bunny stuffed animal. He loves stuffed animals!

Sydney in her Easter dress.

A close-up of Ruth.

Easter family picture.

Mom and baby girl!

Another one of Ruth!

Siblings!

We went on a family walk and looked at the ducks. (Well, we left Grandma and Grandpa home to make dinner.) :)

Ruth came on the walk, too! She likes going on walks.

It was a beautiful day.

Sydney, Uncle Craig, and Wes all on screens.

Spring Break in Utah

We went to Utah for Spring Break and for Easter. We spent the first night in Draper with my sisters and the rest of the week in Kaysville with Brian's family. It was a lot of fun especially because the weather was beautiful!

Our first stop was downtown Salt Lake to spend time at Temple Square and the Conference Center.

My bet was that Sydney was going to fall in but everyone stayed dry!

Not my favorite picture of myself ever, but that Temple is where I was married to my husband!

Aunt Jennie was telling the kids facts about the Tabernacle. Wes had a question.

After Jennie's lesson, we listened to the demonstration of the Tabernacle's acoustics.

Cousins in front of the Conference Center (except for the babies).

The babies: Ruth, Ruby, and Lanie.

More water!

Everyone did a tour of the Conference Center.

I think this shot is really cool of the kids looking at the waterfall at the Conference Center.
Grandpa Hanks read the kids a bedtime story.

On Saturday, March 30th, we celebrated "Easter Bunny Saturday".

The kids were very excited about their Easter baskets, of course.

The kids then looked for Easter eggs in the living room.

Audrey had fun hunting, too!

Looking through the spoils!

After the home hunt, the kids got to go hunting at Grandma and Grandpa's church.

Sydney searching for eggs.

Grandma was a great helper in the hunt!

Look at all of the eggs Ruth collected! :)

Sydney found one in the tree!

Audrey, Wes, and Sydney got the candy out of their eggs.

Then they returned the plastic eggs to the baskets.

Grandma set us up to dye Easter eggs.

Grandma helped Wes with his.

Brian read a bedtime story from his iPad to the kids.
