Here are some pictures from the first month of Ruth's life that do not have her in them (since I'm taking a disproportionate number of pictures of her these days...).
| Walking home from school in the sun...Wes is biking, Sydney is running, and Ruth is strolling. |
| We celebrated Oreo's birthday again this year. Oreo turned 101 on March 6th. We tried the Mega Stuf Oreos. Not that awesome, in my opinion. My favorite are still the Double Stuf, for sure. |
| The kids love the random celebration. Of course, right? They get to eat Oreos and cake! |
| Blowing out the Oreo candles! |
| Wes and I went on our date night to Krispy Kreme and had Oreo doughnuts. |
| For a date night, Brian and I went to the archery range. It was a fun, random date. |
| I totally channeled Katniss from the Hunger Games to do my awesome arching. :) |
| We went on a walk/bike ride on Saturday and it was SUPER windy. The kids had fun playing and sitting on the bench looking at the ducks. |
| One evening when Wes and Brian were gone, Sydney and I painted our toenails (well, I painted them). She wanted "rainbow" toenails. |
| Sydney was taking a little break with her dad on the couch. |
| First signs of spring! The kids decided to stop and smell the flowers after we got home from school. :) |
| We made cupcakes one day and I put Sydney in charge of putting the cupcake liners in the pans. She's really into patterns right now, in case you can't tell. It made me smile. |
| Decorating cupcakes...I think a few of the decorations missed the cupcakes... |
| I made a cupcake with each of the kids' names on it. I couldn't leave out Ruth even though she couldn't eat it herself. Don't worry, I ate if for her. :) |
| Brian entered a speech contest for his Toastmasters Club and he won first place! He really has a natural talent for speaking and he did so great. I wasn't at all surprised that he won. I was so proud of him! He gets to go on to the next round on April 6th, so that should be fun! |
