Happy 1st Birthday, Sydney!

I knew the 1st year would go by quickly, but for some reason Sydney's first year seemed even faster than Wes'!

I think she was a little intimidated by its hugeness, she didn't even really want to touch it.

We opted to give her a smaller cupcake. She always tries things by sticking her tongue out and licking it first.

Wes told me: "I love Sydney's birthday cake, Mom." He was very supportive of her birthday festivities!

Sydney was "All done!" so she was handing her cupcake to Dad.

Brian took the outside as an opportunity to get some Sydney tosses in. She loved it! (Don't worry, Mom, it's looks worse than it is.) :)

One of Brian's birthday presents came on October 1st. Since he already had guessed what it was and it was technically his birthday month and he'd been wanting one forever, I let him open it early.
