The MBA Kids

Here's a comparison of the kids from when we arrived at Michigan until now.

September 13, 2008: Carter, 6 months; Hayden, 11 months; Wes, 16 months

April 25, 2010: Hayden, 2.5 years; Jack, 16 months; Sydney, 18 months; Wes, 3 years; Carter, 2 years

Sydney and Wes are really going to miss their friends. Sydney can look at a picture and name all of her boy-friends. She's been out-numbered, but I don't think it's been a problem for her! I'm sure Wes will often ask where all of his friends are. Poor kids!

MBA Wives Celebration

I think that the LDS MBA husbands are, by far, the coolest around.

The business school does a Disorientation Week for all the MBA2's, which consists of a lot of bar-hopping, so the LDS guys decided to create their own "disorientation" activities. Lucky for the wives, multiple activities involved us and showing their appreciation to us! How amazing is that?

It all started with the guys taking over our dinner nights for our dinner group. Brian picked a recipe, did all the grocery shopping, and made dinner by himself. It was really yummy too!

On Friday, the guys figured out babysitting for all of the kids and gave us all pedicures. We even had healthy snacks while they pampered us. After our pedicures, the men picked up the kids and put them to bed while the women went to The Melting Pot and out to a movie. We're lucky ladies for sure!

Soaking my feet while eating my snacks.

Brian thought this picture was goofy, but I think it's really cute.

The Hoopers, Edwards, and Morrises.

The Hanks and Grays.

The finished product with my "yoga toes" (thanks Janna!).

The Men: Tyler, Bruce, Shawn, Steve, and Brian

The toes.

The Wives: Marti, Jonelle, Natalie, Christie, and Andrea.

I sure am going to be sad when we all have to start saying goodbye (a week from tomorrow). I'm so grateful all of our vastly different paths brought us together for this short 21 months.
