Bear World and Rexburg

On Friday, August 2nd, 2013 we got ready for the day and then headed out to Bear World and spent some time in Rexburg.

It is crazy how close you can get to the bears.

I had the girls in my car and they were trying to count all of the bears that we saw.

We went to a splash park in Rexburg but the kids wanted to ride the carousel first.

1st Half of the 9th Week of Summer

On Thursday, August 1st, I took the kids to Idaho Falls to meet up with my sister, Angie, and visit my Swensen grandparents.

8th Week of Summer

These pictures are from July 22nd to 28th.

Brian's brother, Craig, and his wife Sara, were driving through Boise on their way to move to Utah (from Seattle). It was fun to meet our newest nephew, Soren!

These two are about 5 months apart in age.

The kids made a "flower show" in the backyard one afternoon.

I was organizing the kids' school binders (all the little projects they bring home from school and any other pictures they draw or notes they write at home that I want to save) and they wanted to look through them. They really had fun remembering all they had done.

We were on our way to go swimming but the kids had a hard time getting to the car because they had new library books to read!

I love that my kids enjoy reading.
