Our Weekend and A Lots of Fun Videos

Brian and I went to Ohio over the weekend. We stayed just outside of Kirtland in a town called Mentor. They have a brand new Avery Dennison office building there. We stopped in Cleveland on the way back to see Brian cousin, Dave (who's doing his neuro surgery internship there), his wife, Sarah, and their son, Malcom who's 18 months. We actually didn't ever end up getting any pictures with them, but we had a fun lunch and trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! (We actually didn't take many pictures of our weekend...oops!) By the way, Wes got tooth #3 during our trip and I think he's been working on #4 and battling a cold. I think the teeth are getting easier on him...I didn't really even notice this time!

Before we left, I took this video of Wes going up and down from our coffee table, talking away! You can see a red spot on his head from bonking it...it's gotta be tough being a toddler!

Brian in front of the Kirtland Temple. It was cold!

Little kid in a big bed: Wes "brushing his teeth" with a pen in our hotel room.

We stopped in Ann Arbor on the way back to Schaumburg so we could check out Univ. of Michigan. We met one of my friends from high school there (she's in their law program) and she showed us around the small town. This is in front of the famous "Big House" where all the football games take place! (And yes, it was SUPER cold!)

This is a game Brian likes to play with Wes. It's especially fun for Brian because he's already taught Wes something! As you can see from the video (after Wes finishes clapping for himself) when Brian says the "magic phrase," Wes knows what to do.

This is one of Wes' latest tricks: he kisses when you do! I think this is a really fun one so I tried to get it on video even though he wasn't super excited about it.

Double uses for the Exersaucer!

Wes playing catch with his dad. He's got quite an arm! :)

I found him like this in his crib when I went to check on him after he fell asleep for his nap. I'm not really sure how his pants ended up off of him, but I thought it was pretty cute!
