Trying Tennis

 

On September 6, 2013 the kids started tennis. It was a fun tennis test run, but it didn't last long because of the day/time (Friday afternoon) and because the lessons were pretty far away and not that great. Oh well! It was a good introduction to tennis for the kids.

Sydney's First Day of Preschool 2013

 Sydney started another year at Harmony Preschool on September 4, 2013. This is the first time our family has been at the same preschool two years in a row. It's nice for her teacher to know her and her capabilities already. Plus, it's nice for her to have friends right away.

I didn't tell her to hold out her dress like this. That's just how she wanted to pose, I guess.

A Few Sad Little Pics

Ruth is a very happy and smiley little girl. But, she got really sick for 10 days and there were no smiles to be seen. It was so sad. I haven't ever dealt with such high fevers and so many sick baby problems in my other two babies before. It was rough for me. Luckily, she came out of it all after 10 days. Wes did get a bit sick one of the days as well. These pictures are from September 1st and 2nd.

Ruthie's rash. It was a non-descriptive rash. When I took her to urgent care (because her temps were getting really high and she had other problems...and it was Labor Day weekend) they couldn't really figure out where the rash was coming from.

Wes, Ruth, and I stayed home from church and Wes slept on the floor in the bathroom.

Such a sad, sad picture of my normally happy baby girl. I could tell she was so miserable. I felt so bad for her. The only plus side was that she cuddled with me more than normal.
