On August 31st, I had a reading party for the kids and their friends to celebrate the end of the reading unit we'd been working so hard on this summer.
We had a bookmark making table.
Some kids played in the "Dress-ups and Dolls" room.

In my room, we had Airplanes and Cars.
Fun times!
We also had snacks, played alphabet bingo, and had a book exchange.
We also had gift bags.
I made these personalized books and put them in the gift bags for each of the kids.
In the gift bag, along with the personalized booklet, I also put in a word slide, a Rice Krispies Treat letter, a letter Oreo on a stick, and a list of 100 Books Every Child Should Hear Before Kindergarten.
