Jack and Mary Smith Family Reunion - July 6th, 2013

On the last day of the reunion, we (those who wanted to) played at Cowabunga Bay in the morning. In the evening we had dinner, played Bunco (a family tradition), and we did "skits in a bag".

Lydia and Sydney enjoying the water.

Sydney was afraid to do the water slide so I took her down it.

Ryan and Wes were going around the lazy river.

Wes was getting a lot of air with Brian tossing him!

We did a "photo booth". Wes looks pretty tough (and pretty young).

Cousins!

Me and my little pink poodle.

Sydney wasn't very happy about life for some reason.

Ruth was a good Bunco helper.

My mom holding Ruth.

A favorite thing was seeing Grandma Smith prance along the stage.

Wes was James Bond for our skit. He thought that was totally awesome.

I think the skits were one of the most memorable things for the kids.

And a cute little baby hanging out until the end!

Jack and Mary Smith Family Reunion - July 5th, 2013

On July 5th, we went to "This is the Place" park and then rented a meeting area to have a dinner and family history night.

Having lunch at "This is the Place".

Sydney and Brian. I was actually getting a stroller at Walmart since we had forgotten ours.

My mom and dad.

Our first stop was leather working.

Then the kids panned for "gold".

Ruth just hung out. :)

The kids went on a train ride around the water.

That's quite a view on that train!

Sydney helped make a copy of the Declaration of Independence.

The kids made some beaded necklaces.

Cousins creating necklaces.

Kaili, Madison, Lydia, and Sydney.

Lydia and Sydney doing a scratch off project.

We had a sign for our reunion! :)

My brother-in-law, Eliot, taking a nap before the craziness began.

All the family that could be at the reunion.

The Craig and Debbie Swensen family. We were all there!

My mom and dad.

My aunties, grandma, and mom.

The 1st cousins that could be there.

The 2nd cousins that could be there.

My little family.

Everyone watching the family history presentation that my mom put on.

The kids had some pictures of our ancestors to color.

I love this picture of my Aunt Pam studying her crossword.

Sleepy sister hanging on her daddy.

He's a good dad.

Back at my sister's house and getting ready for bed. Ruth is the most giggly when she's tired.

Jack and Mary Smith Family Reunion - July 4th, 2013

These pictures are from the 4th of July and were part of our family reunion that was held in Utah. We (my mom's family) were in charge of the event this year.

The morning started off with DIY red, white, and blue parfaits.

My parfait with a little patriotic decor.

Ruby kind of ended up looking like Santa Claus after eating hers. :)

I volunteered to do the girls' hair again.

My attempt at a star in Lydia's hair.

There was a family walk/ride that Brian was in charge of.

Wes borrowed a bike.

Sydney hitched a ride.

Cousins: Lydia, Sydney, and Kaili.

On the walk. (I was actually home with a sleeping Ruth.)

We went to Draper park for lunch. Sydney with Grandpa Swensen.

My nephew, Nathan, holding Ruth.

Brian and I thought we were pretty cool with our frisbee tricks!

Sydney apparently thought she was a dog.

Brian and Ruth.

What a cute baby girl!

Sydney (4), Lydia (6), and Madison (10).

The boys ran through the sprinklers in their clothes. They were having a great time!

Aunt Angie saying hello to Ruthie.

My nephew, Danny, with Ruth.

We went back to my sister's house and had a water party outside.

The boys getting ready to go down the slip-n-slide.

Sydney and Lydia taking a dip in the kiddie pool.

Wes had to get a push down the slip-n-slide. He was a first-timer.

Grandma Swensen entertaining Ruth.

Grandma Swensen holding Ruth.

My dad catching a nap. It always amazes me that he can fall asleep amidst all the chaos!

Goofy face from my baby girl.

Wes having a snack.

Sydney stopping so I could take a pic.

Sydney and Lydia were fascinated by baby Vivienne.

This face of Sydney's made me laugh. The girls had headphones on to minimize the fireworks noise.

The kiddos patiently waiting for a show!

Cute, patriotic cousins.

There they go!

Lydia and Sydney.

Brian keeping Lydia and Sydney safe and cuddled. That's a good man right there. :)
