We had our first snow in November. My cute kids!

One of our Cub Scout activities was to go to Eagle City Hall and meet Mayor Reynolds.

We went to the tree lighting at The Village. We actually missed the lighting and it was freezing, but we had the experience!

If there isn't snow on the ground and the sun is shining, Sydney thinks short and a t-shirt is a good outfit even in November.

The kids were watching "Mickey Twice Upon a Christmas". They were all a little bit worried about some parts of it. I think it may have been the part when Huey, Dewey, and Louie were going to get caught doing something they weren't supposed to be doing.

tHANKSgiving 2015

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Swensen family here in Boise this year. The weather was a little worrisome, but but everyone made it safely, thankfully.

Wes was an Indian for his 3rd grade Thanksgiving feast.

I enlisted these four kiddos to make candy turkeys for the table.

I made these Idaho shortbread cookies with the first letter of each person's name on them, my Dad made the rose apples, and of course, the kids made the turkeys.

Sometimes if you want your toddler to eat actual food instead of treats, you have to just straight up feed her.

For our pie night, I decided to make a Cherpumple just to try it. This is me pouring the cake batter onto the pie.

Here's the finished Cherpumple. It was quite a hit!

The bottom layer is apple pie cooked in a vanilla cake, the middle layer is cherry pie cooked in a chocolate cake, and the top layer is pumpkin pie cooked in yellow cake and then the whole thing is frosted.

We went on a Swensen sibling date (and parents). We went to dinner and then split up into "teams" and bought each person on the other "team" a gift. Eliot's gift was quite hilarious (and slightly inappropriate).

Brian's gift was this R2-D2 pillow.

Sydney got her first pair of reading glasses! She was super excited.

Sydney tried to back out of the piercing at the last second, but these ladies are pros and did it anyway. Sydney looks pretty worried. And, she did cry.

We got his Bobcat. He loves Cub Scouts. (And I love that I could still wear sandals in October!)

Wes really wanted to get his picture with a shark, but he was also scared it would attack him through the glass when he wasn't looking. That's why he's scooted so far in front of the girls.

Sydney finally got to do cheerleading. She told me she'd been wanting to cheer since she was four. (Finally!)
