Cars 2

Wes has been counting down to the premiere of Cars 2 ever since he saw the first preview...about eight months ago. On Saturday, we finally got to take the kids to see the movie. Sydney almost made it through the whole movie and Wes loved the movie.

After the movie, we took a picture with the Cars 2 movie poster in the lobby. I made Sydney's Cars shirt (by freezer paper stenciling) since apparently they don't make Cars shirts for girls. Sydney's carrying a basket of goodies Grandma and Grandpa Swensen gave the kids for the movie.

Wes is attempting to hold still to get a picture with his favorite Cars character!

Softball League

I joined the Bank of America summer softball league this year. It felt good to be playing baseball again!

I still remember how to hit.





I still remember which direction to run the bases.





Line drives hit directly to me in the outfield, however, apparently cause me to fall down.



Oh yeah. Still got it.
