Well, I wanted to do a quick post after Brooke and Alex left (Sunday) and before Mom and Dad Hanks come (today)! We had lots of fun with Brooke (my roomie from college), Alex and their 6 month old, Hailey.
Wes did great with Hailey and it kind of made me wish he had a perma-friend around to hang out with and watch. It was fun to see them interact!
Millenium Park with the umbrella strollers we had to buy since we got downtown and realized neither of us had a stroller in the car! Not a fun thing carrying 16 pound babies and a diaper bag around downtown Chicago looking for a place to buy a stroller!
Dinner at Maggiano's downtown: Anna and Tim Hassell (Alex's bro is in law school up in Milwaukee), Ruth and Bill Hassell (they live in Minnesota), Alex and Brooke, Natalie and Brian.
Outside the Oriental Theatre after Wicked. Yay for musical theatre! How I've missed it! Thanks to Brooke and Alex for coming and a great visit! We LOVE visitors (it's such a great excuse to get my house organized, too)!
