We had a very low-key Easter. We didn't do anything special...no Easter egg hunts or anything like that. But we did have snow! Not many people can say that. I did boil some eggs to dye on Saturday, but we never got around to doing it! Oh well! There's always next year. And hopefully next year there will be a longer period of time between Valentine's Day and Easter so Brian gets more Mini Egg eating opportunities!
Wes found the Easter eggs in the basket that I was going to use for Primary. I think playing with the eggs was fun enough for him!
He's not wearing pants because they fell off his little body. You can see them to the right in the picture under the table.
Instead of dying our eggs, we just made deviled eggs on Wednesday - not even on Easter. (Which, doesn't it seem like a weird thing to do on Easter or with Easter eggs since they are called deviled eggs?) By the way, does anyone know how to get shells off of eggs without them looking all messed up? I tried a "trick" way of cooking them that was totally worthless. Help if you can!
This is especially for the Hanks fam who love their deviled eggs. Wes seems to be starting early on that tradition! Maybe he can help make them for Thanksgiving this year.
Wes eating some egg.
For some reason when he eats, he loves putting his hands in his hair. Nice.
