Gooooooooo Cougars!

On October 5th, we took the kids to the BYU Football game. It was a first for the kids and probably only the 3rd football game for me. (Yes, I know, what kind of BYU Cougar was I in all my 5 years at school?)

It was great fun for the kids to have Grandma and Grandpa Hanks and Uncle Craig to hang out with!

Obviously, this was a very exciting moment in the pregame show. :) It was really fun to watch the kids' (and Craig's) reactions.

Go BYU!

Grandpa and I took the kids home at halftime (since the game didn't actually start until 8:15pm) and Brian, Craig, and Grandma stayed to watch the Cougars pull off the win!

Ruby Lyn's Birthday

On September 21st, our niece, Ruby, turned one. The next day my sister had a birthday party for her. It's so fun to be a part of family birthdays!

Little Miss Ruby Lyn!

All the kids that were in attendance at the party.

Her personal cake...hmmmm...

Oh yah, she's got this. :)

Outdoor School Activities

On September 20th, before the BYU vs. BSU game, we went down to the BYU Alumni tailgating event. We weren't able to get there until the end, so we missed seeing Cosmo the Cougar, but the kids were still able to play and create a positive BYU memory.

At the tailgating event, Sydney got her face painted with a blue "Y".

The kids enjoyed their BYU Mint Brownies...a classic.

On September 21st, Wes' elementary school had its annual carnival fundraiser. The kids had a great time spending all of their tickets on the activities.
The first thing both kids wanted to spend their tickets on was the bounce house.

Wes really wanted to dunk his PE teacher, but didn't quite get it done. He pitched so quickly I didn't even get a chance to take an action shot!

Wes had a great time playing indoor Nerf. He even improved from game one to game two.

The kids got a snow cone to share and it spilled on the table.

That's not going to stop these two from slurping it up!
