Here's some picture overload to go with our candy overload!
Seriously, by the time the actual Halloween day rolled around, I was pretty much over it. Sydney got to dress up a total of five times and Wes got to dress up three times. I guess you get your money's worth with the costumes, but that's a lot of Halloween and treats! Halloween is vastly different from what it was when I was a kid.
That being said, we had fun and I still tried to make the actual day a special one. However, the decorations are coming down today!

| On Saturday, the 27th, we took the kids to the Linder Farms pumpkin patch. Bounce houses are always a hit! |

| The kids are really into bouncing as they go down and you can see they get some air! |

| Then they tried going at the same time! Like I said, bounce houses are a hit with these two. |
 |
| Then Dad helped them scale the hay bales. |
 |
| Pretty tough trio! (I opted not to climb with my pregnant belly.) |

| The kids had a great time running back and forth through the hay bale maze. |
 |
| Then we all went in the giant corn maze. We only went a little ways and then turned around. As we were walking to get "lost", I couldn't help but think that some of the things we humans do to entertain ourselves are pretty odd. |

| Later Saturday evening, we had our ward's trunk-or-treat. Sydney was a Princess Kitty and I think she was attempting to "meow" in this picture instead of smile. |

| On Halloween morning, the kids woke up and Posty-the-Ghosty (our friendly resident house-ghost, who mostly just mysteriously makes treats disappear) left the kids some Boo Berry cereal and each a Halloween book. |

| Later in the morning, Sydney and I went to participate in Wes' Kindergarten Halloween party. The Kindergarten kids were the only students allowed to wear their costumes to school. |

| They got to toss the ghosts and bean bags into buckets. |

| This picture turned out blurry, but Wes got super excited when he got a bean bag in the bucket. His teacher, Mrs. Gibson, is in the white jersey. |

| For Halloween dinner, I served worm sandwiches, mashed boo-tatoes, and candy corn pudding. When I told Wes that I had gotten the worms from the backyard and just washed them off, he looked at me with a slightly concerned look and said, "Are you serious?" I told them the truth, but Sydney still had a hard time eating the "worms" even though she loves hot dogs. |

| Apparently, since our kids were so cute, people felt the need to give them multiple pieces of candy, so they got a ton! |

| When we were about done, the Dildines came by to visit. Little Ruby was a cute pink poodle! |

| The final house for trick-or-treating for the night! I required Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Tooth Fairy, and Princess Kitty to get their picture taken before I gave them their candy. |
