On April 26th, my mom and I drove with the kids to Eagle, ID and stayed one night at my sister's house. On the 27th, we drove to Draper, UT to my other sister's house. On the 28th, the kids and I headed up to Salt Lake and Kaysville to see Brian's side of the family and to celebrate his Mom's birthday.
Janna was in town from Idaho Falls with her daughter, Audrey and Naomi was in town from Chicago with her girls, Lily and Brooklyn. It was so fun for Wes and Sydney to get to see and play with all of their cousins! The fun began at Discovery Gateway in Salt Lake.
Sydney, Brooklyn, and Wes could have played in the water for hours.
Wes took a turn at rock climbing with Aunt Naomi's help.
Then he tried riding the horse. He's saying "Yee-haw!" (even though it looks like he's smelling his armpit).
Audrey is such a tiny little thing! It was so fun to see her since we haven't seen them much over the last year+ of her life.
Brooklyn and Sydney are about nine months apart, but Sydney's almost as tall as Brooklyn is. It was fun to see the cousins playing together.

The birthday room! We didn't actually celebrate in there, but we figured Grandma needed a picture with her grandkids since it was her big day. I love how Brooklyn is kind of hugging Wes in this picture.
After naps, we attempted to get a cousins' picture with Grandma in these adorable outfits that Janna and Naomi made for the kids. Sydney was being a pill, so this is the best shot I got. The highlight is Lily's finger in her nose. :) And yes, Wes is the only boy (so far).
Grandpa Hanks helped keep the kids calm. Sydney and Lily were happy to sit and cuddle.
The kids spent a lot of time playing on the trampoline before and after dinner.Grandma was directing the kids in the games on the trampoline. Even though it looked scary at times, they all had fun and no one got hurt!
After dinner, we sang Happy Birthday to Grandma and the older kids helped blow out the candle. (She only got one candle because, we decided, that after 50 years you get to start over.)
