The fact that Sydney is nearly 7-months-old and she feeds herself Puffs and Cheerios may not seem like a big deal to you. However, to me, it's a HUGE deal.
I thought Sydney was a genius baby since I could (pretty much) never get Wes to eat Puffs or Cheerios even as he got older. And if he did eat a Cheerio, it was likely that he'd gag on it and quite often throw it up along with anything else I had painstakingly gotten him to eat previously. (As was demonstrated here at his first Thanksgiving...minus the throwing up.)
Sydney still doesn't like when I feed her from a spoon, but in solid (not pureed) form she'll eat Puffs, Cheerios, bananas, watermelon, and yogurt melts. That's all we've tried so far, but let me tell you, I LOVE that she eats. I'm seriously in awe that she actually does it! It's a little miracle for me. :)
PS: The little chomper has her 2 bottom teeth in. I've been trying for the last couple weeks to get a good picture, but haven't been able to. She's growing up!
