Ruth's First Bath

The kids were super excited about Ruth getting her first bath. Wes kept asking me when we could do it. Finally, we got a chance! After Ruth's bath, Sydney had a bath and suddenly Sydney's head seemed huge when I was washing her hair. Funny how big my littles seem these days...

Grandma and Grandpa Hanks Meet Ruth

The day after Grandma Swensen left, Grandma and Grandpa Hanks came to visit. It's nice that we don't live in Chicago or Ann Arbor this time so much of our family can meet Ruth while she's still so small.

While they were here, we had really nice weather so Grandma and Grandpa took it upon themselves to teach Wes and Sydney to ride their bikes without training wheels. Awesome! That's one less thing for Brian and me to think about! :)

Wesley First - Two! - Lost Teeth

Wes has had two loose teeth since February and on March 12th they were loose enough that Brian felt like he could help Wes get at least one of them out. Wes and Brian were bound and determined to get one out that night so they watched YouTube videos, iced, and pulled until that baby came out.

Wes was pretty proud of his tooth! Those things really are tiny when they come out.

The next night, Brian and Wes figured they could get out the 2nd one and they did it! Mo' money, mo' money, mo' money. :)

The Tooth Fairy did come both nights and left $2 per tooth in the tooth pillow I had made for Wes. He promptly put the money in his wallet and has since put it in the bank.

The Tooth Fairy also left a note the first night letting Wes know that he could keep his teeth if he wanted. He chose to keep them.
