Here are our random pictures from August 2014. These posts always have a ton of pictures!
| Duck crossing on a walk one morning. |
| Last family swimming day before Claire came! |
| The kids putting our new (borrowed from Brian's parents) pool table to good use! |
| Wes is serious about pool. |
| The kids took two weeks of swimming lessons. They have a special Pirate and Princess Safety day that is a lot of fun for the kids! |
| I did a countdown to school and had special projects. I had these frames laying around so I had the kids make a picture to put in them. Wes made a dog. |
| Sydney's had a cat. |
| We had a lot of fun at the end-of-year summer reading party at the library. |
| Not quite 18-months-old, but she was looking so old to me! |
| Brian and Mike took the kids to the splash park/playground. You can tell by Ruth's cheeks it was a hot day! |
| Brian made a fancy, picture-perfect pie for our date night! |
| Fun times with friends at the river. It was a perfect morning! |
| Brian got to go to Michigan to be on a career panel. |
| On the 13th, Wes said he hoped that I would have the baby soon so that my tummy
would stop showing. Yep, my clothes didn't fit very well at that point!
(Now I know why!) |
| Brian brought presents home for the kids. Sucker for breakfast? No problem! |
| Cutie girl reading her book on the stairs. |
| On the last day of swimming lessons, the kids got to go off of the slide. |
| I think Wes needs some help using his muscles to stay upright. |
| And in Sydney goes, feet high in the sky as well! |
| Ruth at 18 months: August 15, 2014. |
| We had to get in our yearly summer tradition of backyard S'mores! |
| Roasting marshmallows (and Sydney with a toe-pop). |
| We took the kids to Toys R Us to spend their own money. Sydney didn't quite have enough to buy this Minecraft Ocelot that she really wanted, so she got a picture instead. Luckily for her, Grandma Swensen bought it for her when she came to town. |
| Sydney at the pool. |
| 39 weeks! |
| The kids earned a trip to Chuck E Cheese for finishing a bunch of workbook pages. (Ruth didn't have to do any workbook pages.) |

| Brian and Wes in a hoops contest. |

| Grandma Swensen with Claire. |
| Sydney and Ruth helping Grandma Swensen beat some games on her iPad. |
| Wes was conducting the music for Family Home Evening and Ruth went to join - and copy - him. She loves to be just like Wes! |
| I wanted to take this picture to see how much she had thinned out from her super chunky picture that I took when she was in the NICU. She definitely deflated a lot! |
| Ruth and Claire. |
| She's a strong little one! She's hanging on Brian's pull up bar in the garage. |
| Weight bars work as seats, too. |
| I finally got a picture of all four of my kiddos six days after Claire was born. |
| Ruth. |
| Ruby helping Grandma Swensen take care of Claire. |

| Brian and Mike took the kids to the river. |
| Cheese! says Ruth. |
| Wes and Claire. What a good brother! |
| Ruth wanted me to take a picture of her when I was taking pictures of Claire. |
| Ruth and me. |
| Claire folding her arms while she sleeps. |
| She acted like she was sooooo hungry and then fell asleep after two seconds. Typical newborn. :) |
