Here are our random pictures from August 2014. These posts always have a ton of pictures!

The kids took two weeks of swimming lessons. They have a special Pirate and Princess Safety day that is a lot of fun for the kids!

I did a countdown to school and had special projects. I had these frames laying around so I had the kids make a picture to put in them. Wes made a dog.

Sydney's had a cat.

We had a lot of fun at the end-of-year summer reading party at the library.

Not quite 18-months-old, but she was looking so old to me!

Brian and Mike took the kids to the splash park/playground. You can tell by Ruth's cheeks it was a hot day!

On the 13th, Wes said he hoped that I would have the baby soon so that my tummy would stop showing. Yep, my clothes didn't fit very well at that point! (Now I know why!)

Brian brought presents home for the kids. Sucker for breakfast? No problem!

We had to get in our yearly summer tradition of backyard S'mores!

We took the kids to Toys R Us to spend their own money. Sydney didn't quite have enough to buy this Minecraft Ocelot that she really wanted, so she got a picture instead. Luckily for her, Grandma Swensen bought it for her when she came to town.

The kids earned a trip to Chuck E Cheese for finishing a bunch of workbook pages. (Ruth didn't have to do any workbook pages.)

Wes was conducting the music for Family Home Evening and Ruth went to join - and copy - him. She loves to be just like Wes!

I wanted to take this picture to see how much she had thinned out from her super chunky picture that I took when she was in the NICU. She definitely deflated a lot!
