Yesterday, I just took a couple minutes to take a bunch of pictures of Wes to see if I could get some cute moments. Somehow I doubt that I'll have this much time to take pictures of our next child... Don't worry, sometime I'll post something besides pics of my super cute kid!

Don't worry Grandpa Swensen, he not sucking his thumb, just his fist. It's one of his favorite things and I think it's pretty funny. I know this could easily lead to thumb-sucking though... :/ (No thumb-suckers allowed in the Swensen family!)

The Sitting Nee-Nee Game

This is one of Brian's favorite games to play with Wesley. Wes always seems to enjoy it, too. He just sits there and lets Dad do his thing. This actually works even when he starts crying. It's a good calming technique. Believe it or not, Wes has been doing this since about 2 or 3 weeks.

And don't worry...he's only hit his head once. :/

Ask and Ye Shall Receive...

Our 6 month promotion on Comcast Cable ended last Saturday, bumping our monthly bill from around $40/month to close to $65/month.

It got me thinking: if I call to cancel, will they offer me a better deal to keep me as a customer?

After 3 minutes on hold, the operator politely asked me why I wanted to cancel, then asked if I could have a continued promotion if I would then stay with Comcast, and then offered me $33/month for the next 6 months for all the same services. Sweet!

All I did was delay the inevitable switch, but . . . I'll take it.


Speaking of bills, does anyone know of a cheap way to get high-speed internet? I know it depends on the providers in your area, but our options are very limited for some reason, and the prices are high... Is there are trick out there someone can clue me in on?
