On the morning of the 4th, we went to the Kaysville Parade. It was quite the event! People had their chairs, tents, and blankets lined up the day before. We just walked up the street about 5 minutes before the parade started. We had a great view too!
This is Brian and Wes with the Davis High School band in the background of which Brian (and each of the Hanks kids) used to be a member.

Tyler, Janna, Grandma Hanks, and Brian watching the parade. I'm not sure what Wes is watching.

Wes and Mom!

In the evening, we had a barbeque and a couple of Brian's cousins came over. Part of it was launching water balloons. Luckily, there was a couple sitting in a car in the church parking lot just over the fence so the guys had a great target! I love the expressions in this picture! In the picture are Brian's cousin, Mike, Uncle Tyler, Uncle Craig, his fiance Sara, and Brian.

Wes and Dad!

We did a few fireworks for Wes before he went to bed. This was where he watched them from - very intently, of course.

Adam and Brian playing ladder golf. Man! It was sure great to be able to sit outside and not sweat the whole time! I'm definitely a fan of dry summers - humidity is not so fun!

Brian and Craig had a great time playing pyros and lighting off the fireworks. We were able to see the fireworks at the high school from the Hanks' house so we didn't have to go anywhere. Awesome!
