I finally got around to taking a picture - and taking down - the poster that Lydia and Sydney made for me while I was at the hospital.

While Brian and the older kids were in Utah, Grandma Hanks straightened Sydney's hair. It always amazes me how long it actually is!

Ruth was trying to share a toy with Claire. It took some time, but Ruth started to figure out Claire was not going anywhere.

Brian went out of town and even though Ruth was getting her own snacks and eating them off the floor, it all worked out.

Some days are like this...feeding a baby while a toddler sits on my lap and watches a show.

Sleeping Ruth. I can't figure out how toddler's hands often end up in this position while they sleep. (At least it has happened frequently with my kiddos!)

We celebrated the September birthdays (Nathan and Ruby) during our monthly Smith family dinner.

Brian was (mostly) in charge of putting on the BYU Alumni Golf Tournament this year. It went great!

I ran the Celebrate Women's Fitness 5k again. I didn't run the whole thing since I just had a baby, but it was great! I do love races!

I finally got around to giving our fourth baby a bath on her 1-month birthday.

Wes lost another tooth. It's hard to tell where since the gap that's left doesn't look big enough for a permanent tooth to come in! I'm curious to see what happens there. We're saving up for braces! I think the kids have Brian's teeth with my mouth. Not a great combination space-wise.

We went and made geodes at the library and then they gave out homemade rock candy!

I tried to put a toy on Claire's car seat this day to keep her from falling asleep on the way to pick up Sydney. Didn't work!

One Saturday, I got to take Sydney to her soccer game all by myself! We were early and had time to cuddle and keep warm.
