Boise Balloon Classic 2013

 We had some visitors in town for Labor Day weekend. Our friends, Aaron and Shelby and their three kiddos came to visit. However, I don't think I got any pictures of them! That is probably because Ruth ended up being really sick the whole weekend. :( However, before we realized she was super sick, we took her out early in the morning with us to the Boise Balloon Classic. These pictures are from August 31st, 2013.

Boise Hawks Baseball Game

The kids had some free tickets to a Boise Hawks game from the library's summer reading program. Since we had never taken the kids to a game, we decided it would be a fun family event. We went on August 30th, 2013. I'm glad that we didn't spend a ton of money on tickets since the whole thing was pretty much lost on Sydney. All the kids really wanted were hot dogs and cotton candy anyway!

Ruth actually had a bit of a temp in the morning this day but I figured it wasn't a big deal. However, I had no idea what the next ten days would have in store for this poor little girl!

Last Week of Summer 2013

Avocado was one of Ruth's first foods and she loves it!

One morning I was jogging on the main road outside of my subdivision and I just thought about how much I love that there are still wide open spaces with farms off of main roads where I love. It's nice not to be so claustrophobic!

It was halfway through the day before I noticed that Ruth and I were both wearing pink pants.
