On March 14th, Wes was a part of Chief Joseph Elementary's production of 101 Dalmatians. He was just in the chorus, but it was his ideal part: a puppy! For some unknown reason, Wes loves puppies (well, not in real life, just stuffed ones and in books) and was thrilled to play one.
Wes had to practice twice a week, after school, for a couple of months. He was busy (especially once he transferred to North Star which is 20 minutes away from Chief Jo), but it was fun and he seemed to really enjoy it!

| It was so fun that Grandma Hanks happened to be in town and got to come to the show! For his post-show flowers, we gave Wes a plant he could keep instead of flowers that would die. |
