Random Pictures from May 2015

Here are our random pictures from May 2015.

Brian drove his Dad and brother, Kevin, out to the Oregon coast to start their biking journey across America.

This is what happens when a mom (or dad) tries to lay on the floor.

Sydney can't be left out of the "climbing on a parent" time!

Brian was out of town and I took all the kids to watch Wes' baseball game. Supermom right here!

Me sporting Brian's team hat for the game.

Claire finally got a tooth! It's that tiny white speck on her gum line.

Cuddling in bed with Sydney and Ruth.

Claire trying Menchies for the first time. She's a fan.

Ruth decided she wanted to have a picnic lunch on the floor of the kitchen.

Sydney trying to cuddle with Claire.

I randomly laid down on the landing on our stairs and Ruth proceeded to bring me a pillow, blankets, stuffed animals, and books. She's very helpful!

We randomly ran into the Dildine family on our outing at Menchies.

Claire and Sydney playing at the park.

Grandpa Hanks and Claire. Kevin and Dell made it back to our house to rest up after a week of biking.

Since Grandpa was in town, Brian and I got to go on a date! We went to Big Al's.

Me and my kiddos on Mother's Day.

This was "the color" of Mother's Day. Shalice, me, and Kim. More women than us were wearing this color!

Claire testing out the swing with me. She's a fan.

Claire had an Oreo...can you tell?

Ruth and Claire at the piano.

Claire and Sydney at the park.

Sydney likes to climb!

Wes about to hit the ball.

Wes ready to catch. We had lots of baseball in May!

Sydney's soccer team. Most of the girls are in our ward.

Sydney getting tackled by Claire since she was laying on the floor. Sydney actually loves the game.

Ruth finished the puzzle that we got from our home teachers (with help from Dad).

One o'clock church is hard on a 2-year-old that naps after lunch. It was pretty much a miracle Brian got her to fall asleep!

Sydney studying her next move while playing Triominos against Brian.

Claire likes to "help" do the dishes.

After longingly watching her siblings go up, Claire finally figured out how to climb the stairs.

And once she learned to climb, why not just climb as high as possible?

One morning before school, ALL of the kids were just hanging out in my room while I tried to get ready.

Ballet teacher thank you: candy lei and a hand-made card.

Wes and his arctic fox diorama.

Wes during the diorama open house at school.

Sydney tried to pretend like she was a 2nd grader.

Wesley's desk at school. If only my organizational skills would rub off on him, his life would be so much easier. :)

Picnic lunch with the 2nd graders.

My three girls waiting at the bus stop for Wesley.

Ruth helping Brian with the garbages. This made such an impact on her that she talked about the garbage cans for the rest of the day!

Wesley's baseball cleats and a laundry basket on her head. Funny girl.

Claire at 39 weeks on the outside!

Brian and baby reading the newspaper.

This girl wiggled and wiggled those teeth so she would lose them before school ended. Mission accomplished!

On Memorial Day, Brian took the two older kids to find some of his relatives graves.

Eagle Field of Honor.

Ruth made a tower!

The hair I had to pull out of Sydney's head to untangle the giant knot that had formed. Maybe it's time for a haircut for this girl...

A purse and swimming goggles are pretty necessary accessories when waiting for the bus.

For one family home evening, we went to visit Great Grandma Smith and play Chutes and Ladders.

Ruth just went ahead and finished off the peaches at dinner.

I got this to keep Claire contained and Sydney (under the blanket) and Ruth had fun playing in it as well.

We went downtown to support Brian at the Idaho Potato Half.

Brian and the kids post-half. They're nicer than I am...I won't get anywhere near Brian until he showers. :)
