St. Patrick's Day 2014

We love holidays around here! Both of the older kids had school so we started the day off with Lucky Charms, green milk, and new green shirts! The kids had also attempted to catch a leprechaun, but they ended up with chocolate gold coins instead.

We did a little milk bottle in the hopes that the leprechaun would only dye that milk green instead of a full gallon that was in our fridge. It worked and we all didn't have to drink green milk all week, just the kids.

Ruth's first experience with Lucky Charms...she ate them just like any other first-timer: she consumed all of the Charms and left all of the "Luckies".

My cuties ready for the day in their green shirts.

I think this rainbow dinner with become a tradition! Much better than artificial green dye in all of our food. I also made Irish Soda bread and we had white cheese to represent clouds.
