The first snowfall this year was on November 14th. And something about the first snowfall makes me want to get cozy and pull out the Christmas decorations. But, since it was still the middle of November, I decided to have doughnuts and hot chocolate for dinner!

| Wes and Sydney helped cut out the doughnuts. They were baked. They didn't really taste like doughnuts to me, unfortunately, but the kids still enjoyed them since there was cinnamon and sugar on them. |

| Then, the kids went out to play while the doughnuts cooked. |

| The next day (Friday), school was cancelled because the snow literally did not stop falling for at least 24 hours. Luckily the kids had neighbors - Laney and Maddie - to play with! |
